Madrid-based tech startup Zylon has successfully secured $3.2 million in pre-seed funding, signaling a strong investor interest in its innovative GenAI application tailored for workplaces. The investment round was spearheaded by Felicis, with notable contributions from LifeX Ventures, Zypsy, and strategic angel investors including Travis McPeak, co-founder of Resourcely, Kirill Tashilov from Talis Capital, and Hans-Christian Zappel, founder of IMMO.

Founded in 2023 by Iván Martínez Toro and Daniel Gallego Vico, Zylon aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence (AI) tools in workplaces without the necessity for technical expertise. The funding will primarily fuel the expansion of Zylon’s team and the enhancement of its existing Software as a Service (SaaS) product. This expansion aims to cater to entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises lacking AI technical teams by enabling them to develop their own GenAI tools and associated infrastructure effortlessly.
