New York City-based health tech firm, Fabric, has recently expanded its capabilities by acquiring San Francisco-based conversational AI care assistant, Gyant. This strategic move is set to revolutionize the patient-to-clinician journey, offering innovative solutions to streamline healthcare processes.

In a significant all-cash deal, Fabric absorbed Gyant and its entire team, growing Fabric’s workforce to 130 employees. Stefan Behrens, Gyant’s Co-founder and CEO, will now join Fabric’s executive team as Chief Strategy Officer, reinforcing the commitment to transforming the healthcare landscape.

The collaboration is expected to drive a 58% increase in patient engagement, reduce hospital readmission rates by 10%, and cut call center wait times by 35%.
