Toolify Robotics Secures €1.6M in Seed Funding to Expand Operations

Toolify Robotics, a startup based in Ulm, Germany, has secured €1.6 million in seed funding, attracting support from various backers including High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg GmbH, Sparkasse Ulm, Biberach, and robotics solution provider AiCobot.

The investment aims to fuel Toolify Robotics’ expansion in sales and product development. Founded by robotics experts Dr. Dennis Stampfer, Dr. Matthias Lutz, and Dr. Alex Lotz, the company offers the XITO solution platform, enabling businesses, particularly SMEs, to deploy robots independently without the need for programming knowledge or external specialists.

XITO simplifies the process into three steps: plan, buy, start. Firstly, companies utilize the XITO Designer to customize automation solutions based on templates. Then, through the XITO Marketplace, they acquire necessary components. Finally, equipped with these components, they use the XITO Builder to set up and launch their automation solution.

The initiative addresses challenges such as skilled labor shortages, cost pressures, and the push for digitalization in many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By offering an intuitive approach to automation, XITO aims to unlock automation potential in various sectors.

“Our platform bridges the gap between professional experience, technical background, and the benefits of automation,” notes the Toolify Robotics team. “XITO doesn’t require programming knowledge and streamlines interfaces, making it accessible for those familiar with industrial manufacturing.”

The system’s modular approach allows for individualized solutions, with users designing their automated processes independently. With a focus on simplicity and compatibility, XITO empowers businesses to embrace automation seamlessly.

Toolify Robotics emphasizes that XITO is applicable across industries, from automotive and plastics processing to mechanical engineering and intralogistics. The platform’s simplicity and accessibility have attracted numerous clients seeking to implement automation solutions efficiently.

In essence, XITO represents a contemporary and future-proof solution for technology-savvy managers in SMEs, enabling smooth automation without specialized knowledge. With its user-friendly approach, Toolify Robotics aims to revolutionize automation for businesses of all sizes and industries.
