Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) and DigitalBridge Group, Inc. (NYSE: DBRG) have joined forces to introduce Articul8 AI, Inc. (Articul8), a groundbreaking enterprise generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) company. This new venture will offer a complete, vertically optimized, and secure GenAI software platform to empower enterprise customers. The platform ensures that customer data, training, and inference remain within the enterprise security perimeter, allowing the flexibility of cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment.
Articul8 has been established using intellectual property and technology developed at Intel. The collaboration between Intel and DigitalBridge aims to advance GenAI adoption in the enterprise, with Arun Subramaniyan, former VP and GM of Intel’s Data Center and AI Group, leading as the CEO of Articul8.
Pat Gelsinger, Intel CEO, emphasized the strategic alignment with Articul8, stating, “With its deep AI and HPC domain knowledge and enterprise-grade GenAI deployments, Articul8 is well positioned to deliver tangible business outcomes for Intel and our broader ecosystem of customers and partners. As Intel accelerates AI everywhere, we look forward to our continued collaboration with Articul8.”
DigitalBridge Ventures, the venture initiative of DigitalBridge, played a significant role as the lead investor in Articul8. Other investors include Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group.
Marc Ganzi, CEO of DigitalBridge, expressed excitement about Articul8’s growth, stating, “Articul8 has built a scalable and easy-to-deploy GenAI software platform that is already enabling enterprises to unlock value from their proprietary data. We see GenAI as a pivotal force driving digital infrastructure, and we are pleased to collaborate with Intel to support Articul8’s growth.”
Articul8 offers a turnkey GenAI software platform optimized on Intel hardware architectures, including Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and Intel® Gaudi® accelerators. This platform, developed in deep collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), has already scaled its services to enterprises in high-security sectors like financial services, aerospace, semiconductors, and telecommunications.
Arun Subramaniyan, CEO of Articul8, highlighted the company’s mission, stating, “We’ve been really trying to address the biggest gap in generative AI today, which is that building a proof of concept is easy, but getting things into production and doing it safely and in a cost sustainable way is really what is missing.”
As an independent company backed by industry investments, Articul8 is poised to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and expand its offerings in the growing GenAI ecosystem, providing enterprises with cutting-edge AI solutions for operationalization and scaling.
