Hatz AI Secures $2.5 Million to Pioneer AI-as-a-Service for MSPs

Hatz AI, founded by Jimmy Hatzell and serial entrepreneur Aidan Kehoe, has unveiled its official launch, accompanied by a successful $2.5 million seed funding round led by Vestigo Ventures. The groundbreaking platform aims to empower Managed Service Providers (MSPs) worldwide by offering AI applications, AI agents, vector storage, and custom Large Language Models (LLMs), all managed through a multi-tenant platform.

Hatz AI, set to make its products available globally in March, envisions MSPs playing a pivotal role in the global shift to AI. Jimmy Hatzell, CEO of Hatz AI, emphasizes, “I think every MSP will soon manage and own their own LLMs, and provide similar services for their customers. We are building a system of record for MSPs to manage that transition and a system of engagement to operationalize the technology.”

One of the early adopters, Tim Guim, CEO of PCH Technologies, expresses enthusiasm, stating, “The platform allows PCH Technologies to provide AI-as-a-Service in an easy-to-use format that is secure and customizable, creating a competitive advantage for our clients by accelerating the adoption of AI in each individual business.”

The funding round, led by Vestigo Ventures, boasts an impressive lineup of investors, including Alex Weiss from ClearSky, Matt Higgins from Shark Tank and RSE Ventures, Jim Brown from Long Ridge, Jon McNeill, founder of DVx Ventures, former president of Tesla, and former COO of Lyft, Iqram Magdon-Ismail, musician and Co-founder of Venmo, and Aidan Kehoe, Nadia Partners.

Frazer Anderson, Principal at Vestigo Ventures, expresses excitement about collaborating with Hatz AI, stating, “MSPs are entrepreneurial, customer-obsessed, and essential to the adoption of innovative technologies by the information economy. These are the kind of folks we love working with at Vestigo, and we are thrilled to partner with Jimmy and Aidan to build the first MSP-native customer AI platform.”

Hatz AI plans to roll out its first products in March 2024, including an AI Application Builder and Organizationally Managed AI Assistants. Future releases later in the year will introduce AI Phone Customer Service Agents, along with capabilities to train and manage vector databases and custom LLMs within the multi-tenant platform.

For MSPs eager to explore Hatz AI’s offerings, the company is actively signing up new partners through a waitlist available on their website hatz.ai. The successful funding round and strategic vision of Hatz AI mark a significant step toward realizing AI-as-a-Service for MSPs globally.
